Renfrewshire Council for Voluntary Services (RCVS) was set up in January 2000 to service the needs of Renfrewshire voluntary and community sector. Based in Paisley we have, since then, developed our network and built our membership base to over 100 organisations.

RCVS is an umbrella organisation for the voluntary sector in Renfrewshire with members varying from small self-help groups to branches of major national charities. We offer other agencies the opportunity to consult groups working in the Renfrewshire area.

We provide services to the following areas:

Langbank, Kilbarchan, Howwood, Lochwinnoch, Bridge of Weir, Houston, Bishopton, Linwood, Elderslie, Inchinnan, Erskine, Paisley, Renfrew, Johnstone in addtion to all areas in Renfrewshire.

Community Groups

InRenfrewshire.com offers a unique opportunity to any community based group in Renfrewshire to have their own web site developed and hosted. Depending upon your location this service can free

We offer a custom web site with a comprehensive content management system, domain name and hosting all for £50. There is an additional £50 one off payment to have this set up. After which we help you along to develop your web site and advertise it here.

We can register a domain name(s) for you when your ready. The cost is £20 per year, domains included are: .co.uk, .org.uk .com, .net, .org or .info

There are other domains available like .eu, these cost more but if you need more information please email us.

The aims of the Scottish CAB service

The Scottish CAB service is united by two aims:

to ensure that individuals do not suffer through lack of knowledge of their rights and responsibilities, or of the services available to them, or through an inability to express their need effectively and, equally 

to exercise a responsible influence on the development of social policies and services, both locally and nationally.

CAS and Scottish bureaux work together to achieve these aims.
