We have a split personality! We do two things, we act as a portal for other web sites and a central point for activities in Renfrewshire and we act as the host for web sites for community groups and small/social businesses in Renfrewshire. If you want a professional web site for your group or business, see 3DC.org.uk at www.3dc.org.uk. |

The Portal Bit In Renfrewshire is a portal web site offer information and links to other sites in Renfrewshire and beyond.
Making it work This is a web site that is managed by a team of volunteers! We aremade up of web designers, business consultants and marketing professionals (ok, one marketing professional!) to people who just like to 'surf and assist, like you! They send in information and dig up information that goes a long way in making this site grow. New? We have been here in one guise or another for many years, but this web site is being re-launched in 2008 with a new emphasis. Interested in helping us? Well, we're building a gallery of people and places in Renfrewshire to show off it's heritage and it's beauty, so if you have a few photos you would like to share, get in contact! If you would like to write a ditty about politics or what to do on a Saturday then we're here to give you a voice, just drop us an email! |
Old & New The old Coats Mill now flats and offices, part of our regeneration |
The Other Bit We play host to many web sites! part of our name goes into many others. 3DC.org.uk design and support web sites for community groups and we host them, ie: yourgroup.inrenfrewshire.com (Your Group in Renfrewshire) They either give you a web site you can manage from any computer connected to the internet through a clever CMS (Content Management System) or they give you one you can create add and change to using EZ Generator. For more information contact them - click here www.3dc.org.uk Don't need a web site? Don't have the technical know how? Well, you don't need one, why not read the Butcher's story for some inspiration. Independence! We have nothing to do with the local councils or government agencies (we don't mind them, just nothing to do with them)! We have a management team that tweak and build the site for the benefit of the community. Do we work with other organisations? All the time! |
